Behind The Scenes

Witness the Crew Experience the challenges and joyful moments of them making the documentary film.

Storyboard
Gabriel expresses his experience of storyboarding as being challenging but also liberating due to the incredible amount of freedom he had in working on it.

Film Editing
Weinster expresses that editing the documentary was initially challenging, especially when he was getting used to iMovies and understanding its concepts. Furthermore, he states that it got easier as he used the platform much more often, and he managed to complete it.

Script writing
Temidayo states that script writing took a bit of time, but it was interesting for him as Virgil is one of his idols. He furthermore says that he learned new things about himself and his work. Through the help of his team, script writing was not a challenge.

Interview
Gabriel is the one who came up with the interview questions and was also the interviewer and mentions that he did not face any challenges while doing that task. Temidayo and Weinster were the interviewees and said they were very confident in answering the questions since they already knew about Virgil Abloh before the project. Babak was the cameraman filming the interview.

Research
Doing research for the film was very easy since Virgil Abloh is a well-known fashion designer, and there were no challenges faced while doing so. Everyone in the group did very well in finding information about him.

Group-work
The group had a great experience working together. Like any other project, there were ups and downs, but the group managed to conquer them. There were some funny moments, especially when they were recording the voiceovers. If you listen carefully, you can hear some giggling in the background of the documentary and the person speaking during the film changing the tone cause they wanted to laugh. All in all, the group managed to produce a great documentary film.
